Genelia D'Souza was born to Jeanettle D'Souza on 5 August'1987 in Mumbai. Her nick name is Geenu and she is basically from Manglorean Catholic family. Geenu studied in Apostolic Carmel High School and after she had joined St. Andrew College to pursue her degree in Management Studies. She is a sport person state level athlete and National level football Player.
After completing her education, she got entered in bollywood industry her first debut movie was Tujhe Meri Kasam opposite to Ritiesh Deshmukh in the year 2003.Then she left bollywood and switch to South Indian films, she played many role in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada movies. She came into lime-light with Amitabh Bachchan in Parker Pen's advertisement and then fair and lovely.
Genelia has done number of movies like Janne Tu Ya Jaane Na, Mere Baap Pehle Aap, Life Partner and her forthcoming movie are Chance Pe Dance, Hook Ya Crook, Orange, It's my life.
